Hello Michael,
The 3c905 card was released just after around the time of 7.0.
I am using 3c905c NIC and changed the following line in etc/conf.modules
from alias eth0 3c90x
to
alias eth0 3c59x
Resave the changes. This will get you up and running.
Reboot your computer. Try typing in: http://127.0.0.1:10000
