Is this where I ask questions. If so here goes.
System Pentium 233MMX, 64 Mb RAM.
Graphic card Legend 64Mi+, which uses ArkLogic Ark2000PV
(generic). Res.(autoselect) 256 colors(8 bits) @ 1024 x
768.
Monitor. High Frequency SVGA 1024 x 768 @ 70
hz.
Installed Linux-Mandrake, eventually got the Vid Cd accepted,
and it ran beautifully for two days. It is on a PC with dual boot (w98) but on
its own HD. Partitions were autoselected.
Yesterday I booted up, logged in, put startx in and blammo a
screen about the size of my room. What I was able to see was only the bottom two
buttons in the corner of the window. That area occupied the entire screen. I
cannot scroll and it was very, very difficult to get to log out and shut down.
So I installed the lot again and got exactly the same result. Today I
reinstalled, same result.
How the dickins do I reduce the screen size to fit into my
desktop. Text is working OK so can I adjust things thru there ?
