Thank you Greg. And please, don't be sorry. At least the darn thing is
compiling now and not crapping out on me. It was a real struggle there for
a while. I was just about to give up when I realized that it was actually
starting to work.
I'm a little brain-dead at the moment though as to what to do with this
new type of "protocol." I've got the basic HOWTO to read through although
I'd still like to use ipchains for now. I guess I'll go back to compiling
for now and see if I can get the support to work for ipchains. I couldn't
believe it, but I spent 6 hours total time configuring and compiling this
bugger to get it to the point to where it would work. Actually I've had
better luck with this "bleeding edge" kernel than with the other so-called
more stable versions of the kernel. go figure!
