Larry....Yep, I sure do.  If you run pine in a Konsole window,
then copying and pasting between apps running in KDE and and
pine is easy.  

Using your mouse cursor, highlight the text to be copied to
pine by holding down the left mouse button and moving the
mouse to the end of the text.  As long as the text stays
highlighted in that apps window then it will be available to
paste into pine.  

To do so place the mouse cursor over the place in pine where
the text cursor is and click the middle mouse button.  The
selected text will appear at the cursor position in pine.

The reverse of this also works for pasting from pine to apps
running in KDE.
