[newbie] help! lock up when local printer setup

[Bradford Sturtevant]

Using DrakConf and Printer Configuration, when I add a
new print queue with a Printer Configuration that is
"local printer" the system freezes.

Any hints? How can I setup local printer manually?

Ststem details:
Mandrake 7.1
Tyan Thunder 2500 (S1867) mainboard
ELSA GLoria II
256MB SRAM
