How do I configure my Mandrake Linux 7.2 to use my DSL?
Here are the specs of my system.
Dual P2 400 Mhz
256 MB RAM
Hercules Prophet 2 GTS 64 MB
SB Live
Flowpoint External DSL modem, D-Link Ethernet Card.
I am setting up in the Configuration system uder the Configure Networks
screen and choosing SETUP DSL.
Then I am putting all the info, IP, Gateway, DNS but I do not know the host.
I know the host is my computer but I dont know what to put in there.
I am using flashcom DSL and they do not require a user/password which the
DSL setup asks me for. I tried putting in the emailed username and password
with no luck.
If anyone has gotten DSL to work that is similar to my situation I would
greatly appreciate any help.
