There are two CDs in the 7.1 distribution.  The second one (x86 extension)
is optional.  When you started the installation program should have, at some
point, asked you which CDs you have (the retail boxes have two more CDs).
If you don't have those CDs but check them off anyway, at the package
installation stage the program will ask for these CDs.  Supposedly you can
just click on "cancel" if you don't have the CDs, and the installation
should continue.  However, there are times that this won't work for some
reason.  I ran into a similar problem before (I put in the CD but it refuse
to recognize it).  After 4~5 tries of starting the installation over, it
finally worked.
