Hi All, I have downladed the IBM java package for linux and installed it. When I run java or javac after setting classpath, path and ld_library_path(which I was just trying to see if it works!) I get the following error message. "Unable to load /opt/IBMJava2-13/jre/bin/libhpi.so: symbol sem_wait, version GLIBC_2.1 not defined in file libpthread.so.0 with link time reference Could not create the Java virtual machine." Can anyone tell me what the problem is? Do I have to upgrade any of the library files? I searched IBM but was not able to find their lists!
