[newbie] tnt2 and 3d games

has anyone installed quake 3, unreal touranament, quake 2 or any other 3d
game on 7.2 with a viper 770 video card
if so what on earth did you do -- i am having the worse time .. man i would
rather go through my 1st divorce then mess with this
