Umm, thats more for speeding up your hard drive, --> IF <-- it supports such
options! Most users go with "hdparm". Do a "man hdparm" and you'll see all of
its (varied) options. Be cautious with its use though, especially with older
hard drives/controllers/MB's.
Linux with its EXT2 filesystem does not need a disk defragmenter... ;-)
