I guess you're right. One other thing is that any user you add to your Linux will have
a full access to the Windows directory. This is really dangerous.

Hi all I have a couple questions on my LM7.2 when Iam root and do a
$cd /mnt then a $mnt ls -l My windows/ is set to drwxrwxrwx so figuring
this is unsafe I do a chmod 600 windows/ but the permissions stay the same
nothing happens ? so what if anything am I doing wrong,as ROOT shouldnt I be
