I found an internal modem that works with Linux. It is a "ActionTec 56K
Internal PCI Call Waiting Modem". On the box it says it supports Linux
and was under $70 at WalMart. I had my doubts but I bought it to try it
and I'm using it right now. I have had no problems with it at all. I
have not tried the call waiting portion, nor do I expect to because I
don't plan to have call waiting.
The 7.2 install didn't recognize it but the modem manual was clear on
how to manually setup the modem.
