Melanie,
It would be a real good idea if you were to disable Aurora and use
something like LILO until you get all the kinks worked out. Laptops are a
very tricky little buggers. Compaq laptops living near the top of a list
of problematic installations. The best thing you can do is keep things as
simple as possible till you get all the necessities nailed down.
