   Those that have problems with Linux, also by and large have similar 
problems with any OS includin Windoze and Macs. Any OS requires a basic 
knowledge of, and maintainence of.  IOW's, user effort. Those that have 
the hardest time seem to want to approach problems as  OS, hardware, 
user  instead of (correctly IMO) just the reverse.  In fairness, I 
believe most SysAdmins would disagree, and instead cite user, user, 
user as the biggest source of problems ;>>

    Can we please lose this thread?  or maybe y'all can take it to
comp.os.ms-window.programmer.misc   ...specially, since most of y'all 
involved don't know parts of the M$ OS have been written in just about 
any compiler language ever invented. ... and yes, windoze _still_ is a 
GUI that runs on DOS.
