[newbie] Boot-up Issue 7.1 & 7.2

Hi   Can anybody tell me how to go about troubleshooting this issue. My install of 7.2 goes fine, I do not istall networking. But when the system is rebooted it locks up. I had the same issue with 7.1, and was hoping 7.2 would fix it.   I have included a screen shot from the digital camera so you can see where it jams.   Thank in advance   Stephen
