OK, one last frontier before I ace Windont forever - getting my cd burner
working. Its a LG CD-RW CED-8042B removable CD-RW, and it works in
windows, but in Linux it doesn't work. When I type cdrecord -scanbus, this
is what it returns:
[root@localhost rog]# cdrecord -scanbus
Cdrecord 1.9 (i586-mandrake-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2000 Jrg
Schilling
Linux sg driver version: 2.1.39
Using libscg version 'schily-0.1'
scsibus0:
cdrecord: Warning: controller returns wrong size for CD capabilities page.
0,0,0 0) 'LG ' 'CD-RW CED-8042B ' '1.07' Removable CD-ROM

0,3,0 3) *
0,4,0 4) *
0,5,0 5) *

Is that warning about the controller returning the wrong size the reason I
can't use my CD-RW? If so, how do I rectify this problem, assuming its
possibe?
