Hi
I have a clean install of Mandrake 7.2 power-pack. I have chossen the
recommend install all option. I have updated all packages that were available
in the normal/security update area. I have Samba-Common and Samba-Client
2.0.7-18mdk installed. I finally got around to modifing my smb.confg file. I
then went to Start Up Services in Drake Config to check smb/nmb services to
be run at start up, but to my serprise it is not listed there. My security is
set to low, so I know that it is not a problem, would like to change it to
medium but need to get Samba started.

Question is how do I get Smb into the startup services or how do I start smb?
Question #2 will changing security status to medium effect a running Samba
setup?

Thanks for your help.
