[newbie] Dependency Error

I finally managed to update everything on my system (7.2). 
Except.....'linuxconf' (1.21r5). MandrakeUpdate says it needs 'libgd.so.1'. 
I've downloaded all the updates so I'm not sure what it is or where to get 
it. Anyone have an idea ?
