Its a trap. They have a server that is much, much faster. Ask the person offering the old POS how many shares of MS Stock they own... I suggest you disconnect the NT Server's drives (so they can't be affected) and substitute a Linux formatted drive and test it off hours on the same basic platform. The 64 mb of memory and slow POS IDE drive (how many actuator arms, etc) and slow processors will kill you. You can't even buy a system that slow, today. Its a stupid comparison. Ask them to keep the additional money they need to pay for MS upgrades and give you at least a somewhat level playing field.
