Hi All, Can anybody help with this one.... I have installed pdksh 'cos its's required by DB2 for Linux. I extracted the files from the tar file, did ./configure and then "make install". The ksh file got put in /usr/local/bin (is this correct, should be /usr/bin ???), and I added the path to ksh into /etc/shells (I think) and I changed my account so that ksh gets fired up at startup. However, when I log in, whatever is in my .profile or .kshrc gets totally ignored for some weird reason. Am I doing something wrong here ? Thanks v.much.
