[newbie] Instal problem: Choosing CD Rom driver for laptop

Hi all,

I seem to be stuck in the first step of the installation process. First
thing I see after the initial scanning of hardware etc. is a blue box that
asks me what kind of CD device I use - SCSI or OTHER and then gives me a
list of driver names- I can't seem to find any driver that works, all
options say 'cannot find device'.

I'm using a Sharp Mebius laptop with an external CD drive(ATAPI?) attached
to a PCMCIA slot.
