ahh, i see now. but, getting back to the problem, why is it failing to
detect the ram? it's fine in win2k. lilo.conf seems to be fine. no errors
produced by 'lilo -v'. is it a hardware issue?

Thanks Tom...I remembered the part about one append, but not about
"per section" <grin>.
sometimes I have to learn things several times before I get it exact.
