type
netstat -a
or
netstat -a -n
this should list all connections. Established and listening.
You are right, I don't see any difference at all. But I bet if you go to
securityportal.com or securityfocus.com and do a scan of your computer, you will find
that what you see in your netstat listening will be all that is open.
