Hello Gigi,

I use Linux Mandrake 7.2 in a computer with motherboard integrated
graphics, namely Intel's 810 chipset. It is able to work work 3D
acceleration support. When I installed Linux, I was asked which of the
XFree86 versions I wanted to use. Among the three options I picked up
XFree86-4.0.1 with accelaration support, and everything works fine.
The output of the "lsmod" command in my computer is the following:

Module Size Used by
i810 72112 0
agpgart 19728 4 [i810]
vmnet 16192 3
vmppuser 5520 0 (unused)
vmmon 17792 0 (unused)
parport_pc 7568 0 (autoclean) [vmppuser]
parport 7744 0 (autoclean) [vmppuser parport_pc]
lockd 32208 1 (autoclean)
sunrpc 54640 1 (autoclean) [lockd]

usb-uhci 19184 0 (unused)
usbcore 43632 1 [usb-uhci]
eepro100 16144 1 (autoclean)
es1371 24656 0
soundcore 2800 4 [es1371]
nls_cp437 3952 4 (autoclean)
vfat 9408 2 (autoclean)
fat 30432 2 (autoclean) [vfat]
supermount 14224 2 (autoclean)

As you can see the agpgart module is loaded and used by Intel's 810
chipset.
On the other hand, the output of the "XFree86 -version" command
is:

XFree86 Version 4.0.1 / X Window System
(protocol Version 11, revision 0, vendor release 6400)
Release Date: 1 July 2000
If the server is older than 6-12 months, or if your card is newer
than the above date, look for a newer version before reporting
        problems. (see http://www.XFree86.Org/FAQ)
Operating System: Linux 2.2.17-21mdksmp i686 [ELF]

I don't even know what OpenGl is, so I think I cannot help you on
that. Greetings from Mexico.

        Fabian.
