  'ls -a /home/[username]/.netscape/'     that should display hidden 
(eg, .) files.  Then 'rm' the culprit.

    Let me make a suggestion here.  Don't even setup Kppp, or any 
dialer, or any apps in your root desktop to access the Net. NEVER 
connect to the Net as root.  You'll be just as exposed as the average  
Windoze user, ie, com'on nasty crackers!!  ;>   There is no reason and 
no excuse to EVER connect as root. (period)
