A couple of years ago I was given a dual boot Win98/Red Hat 5.2 PC for some
computer related work I had done for a friend. At the time my ISP was dialin
and I had all working very well. Since (about 2 weeks ago) I have gone to
cable modem and just haven't taken the time to try to figure out how to get
my Linux system working. In the meantime another co-worker who I have helped
out on Unix systems where I work has given me Mandrake 7.2 CD's along with
StarOffice CD's. I would like to try out all this but I have a question
before proceeding - do I need to "wipe out" the Red Had before proceeding or
do I just do an install of the Mandrake? If advisable to "wipe out" Red Hat
- how? Thanks.
