Well, I tried about everything and eventually managed
to get nfs installed.. at least I thought I did... but I couldn't find any of
the files that shoudl have been there... for instance,
/usr/sbin/exportfs...
Eventually I rebooted the machine and there it was,
but this is almost as bad as bloody Windows! You have to reboot to get nfs not
just working, but even showing up!!! I reeally don't understand how
linuxconf/Mandrake allows me to configure nfs without as much as a peep to say
"nfs isn't installed.."
