Go to system in Control panel, then click on the "device Manager" tab, and
look on the list for "Drives" look around there until you find the main
drive. then double click on it,, (or highlight it and click "properties")
that should give you your drives details,,

Failing that, take the cover off your pc and look at the drive. (it usually
sets under the floppy in Mini/midi towers.)

read the model number off the label.

Hope this helps.. (I found that watching the boot screen of linux it
identified it correctly and listed the model number.)

i checked hardware profiles(if your referring to the tab under system
properties), and in the box i have original configuration, and 3
buttons, copy, rename, and delete
no option to see what hardware i actually have, i have checked in tab
device manager also but no luck
