LM 7.2 runs just fine on my ThinkPad laptop, 366 Celeron with 64 MB of 
memory. If you are having sluggish performance, you might look into 
disabling some services which you rarely or never use, possibly remove 
some fonts or have them load dynamically rather than automatically at 
boot, etc.
