Mark....try a 'hard drive' install. In windows, follow the
directions on the CD to create an installation boot floppy
using the image file, hd.img (in the images directory on the
CD). Then copy the entire Mandrake directory (and it's
subdirectories) from the CD to the root directory of your
windows partition (usually called hard drive c:). Then
reboot using the floppy you made and install Linux.
