Hi evereyone,
I have already tried to install Mandrake 7.2 several times. The install
process goes smoothly, but when the system boots for the first time, the
graphical boot manager Aurora freezes and shows only the left bar. There
is also no reaction of mouse or keyboard.
If I choose failsafe mode, the system starts without any problem.
I am a little disappointed because the Mandrake 7.1 version worked fine.
What can I do to solve this problem?

Matrox Millenium II
Adaptec AHA-2940UW with Quantum Viking II 4.5WLS, IBM DCAS-32160W
Adapter, Pioneer DVD-ROM DVD-303 and Yamaha CRW8824S
Adaptec AVA-2904
Soundblaster 128PCI
REalmagic Hollywood Plus-Decompression card
