[newbie] faulty mandrake 7.2 ?? CD

hi 
i downloaded Mandrake 7.2...both CDs but when i try to boot from it i get
"mount failed: Invalid argument"
"error mounting ramdisk. ..etc"
this happens as the CDRom tries to initalize.
can i take the  file from the mandrake 7.1 CD and  reburn a new CD, If so
what file is it ??
