I have recently installed Mandrake 7.2 - all went very well, including
detection of an ethernet card other distributions couldn't.
Display is quite poor. I have entered all the correct monitor
settings. Other distributions work well with my monitor and these
settings. I have experimented with different settings etc. but the
display is consistantly bad.
The picture is offset to the right -- there are dotted lines running
down the screen -- the picture is not sharp.
Here are my specs: Monitor: MegaImage (14")
Chipset: SIS 620
Pentium 400 celeron
64 megs shared memory (2 reserved for video)
Any thoughts would be appreciated
