[newbie] i need help with installation

I have Mandrake 7.2 and RedHat 7.0 When I try to install Mandrake it keeps on telling me "do you have any scsi devices?" When I say "no" it just ignores it and keeps on telling me "yes or no". But when I click yes it's unable to find the drivers for it. So i'm stuck at this level of installation. I think that's because linux doesn't support ata/100.
