My KDE 2.1 install failed also, breaking X with a "cat: broken pipe"
error. I re-installed, (getting good at that), but haven't tried 2.1
install again. I guess I'll wait for it to appear on MandrakeUpdate and
if it's an rpm packaging problem, it may be fixed by that time.
