Looks like you missed "kdebase , kdegames, apmd, and you don't have PPP. Do 
you use a cable modem or dsl, and thus have uninstalled PPP?  Anyway, the 
libkdefakes.so.0 is indeed a fake. ignore it. Get the other packages you are 
missing and put them with the others in the folder and then do " rpm -Uvh 
--nodeps --force *.rpm  "  and every thing should install. It did for me 
anyway. Let us know about PPP cause that is a puzzler. You may have to look 
for it in rpmfind.net and add it.  Oh, and when you do it with the command 
like above the packages don't have to be any any order. Civileme has taught 
me much, and yet so much more to learn.  Good luck,
