  It's an old 586 board (I think it's an A-bit board) running a K6-233 &
64 Mb of EDO RAM.  Has an AMI BIOS that's 3 - 4 yrs old.  I have it up
and running with a USR Sportster 33.6 ISA MODEM now.  This  MD-U56P2977
OEM MODEM  that I asked about is the reseller's version of the 3COM/USR
5610. 

  I'm gathering info and reading the manuals that I can find.  Sorry to
waste bandwidth y'all, please forgive me.
