[newbie] Applix

Dear All, I just downloaded the Applixware 4.4.2 demo and I cannot
figure out how to install. There were no directions from the webpage and
the readme txt. just says run the 'ax-demo'  script or something close
to that. I tried this and just got a no such command error message. Has
anyone installed this? Any help will be appreciated. Thank you very
