[newbie] Apache

Hi,
How can I tell if Apache is configured and running correctly?. I am trying
to Install Arcserve for Linux on LM 7.2 which requires Apache to be
installed and running. However when I start the Arcserve install it says
Apache must be installed and running first. Where do I put the command to
have Apache start on bootup?. Any help is greatly appreciated.
