>From your config files, it appears that your refresh rate (20-270 MHz)
is out of the range of your monitor's capabilities. And also, you are
running X 4.0.1. XF86Config is for X 3.3.6. We would need to see
XF86Config-4 for XFree86 4. But your error logs were more than
informative for me. Change your refress, hsync, and vrefresh rates to
that within the range of your monitor and all things should be gravy.
