I have an IBM UDMA100 drive (45GB) and 8.0b3 installed. My motherboard
supports UDMA100. I get a speed of around 33MB/sec for the buffered disk
reads. I have tried all the different settings of hdparm and that is the
best I can do. Am I missing something? Am I not suppose to get
theoretically 100MB/sec? I know the 100MB/sec is almost never reached, but
it shouled be a lot higher than just 33MB/sec. Are there settings I do not
know about? TIA.
