kups should easily set up more than one printer. In
fact you can set up multiple drivers for the same
printer (sort of treating it as multiple printers).
You should not have problems with a networked printer.
If the printer resides on a Windows machine, make
sure you have Samba-client working properly on your
Linux box (there is an easy web-based configuration
tool under Network Configuration if you do not want to
set this up manually). Also, make sure that the
permissions are set properly on the print server for
your Linux box to access it.
If for some reason kups is not installing the network
printer properly, you are running proper client
software, and permissions are set properly, please
post any errors that kups reports.
To choose between the printers, you should set your
preferred printer as default with kups. Then in the
application your printing from simply specify the
printer you wish to print to (or specify in console if
you are printing from there).
