Does Mandrake recognize the drive on boot? On which controller is it, and is
it primary or secondary device?
You can make a mountpoint like /mnt/cdrw, and in /etc/fstab hook that to
/dev/hdx1, where 'x' stands for the device that the cd-rw is pointing to (hdb,
hdc, hdd, or even hda if your primary harddisk is not on that).
