Hello
(Geforce 2 w/ 64 mb's DDR-RAM, ASUS A7V mother board, Xfree86 4.03)
I am pretty new to linux and I just switched over from Redhat to Mandrake to
see how it was. Needless to say its very nice. However after about 10-12
hours of my Desktop being open (doesnt matter if I actually use it in that
time or not) I get a bunch of lines that blink across the screen like this:
--- --- --- ---- --- ---- ---- ----- --- ---- ---
and then the Xserver seems to freeze very shortly after. I can still log into
my machine from another computer which is the reason why I think its the
Xserver. Another thing is this doesnt happen with Redhat. I am sure I forgot
some sort of info you need but hopefully all of this will help. Any help
would be appreciated
