Hi,
I (Mandrake) was able to install my ps2 mouse, with wheel support during
a regular installation of LM 8 on my desktop machine. It took a great deal
of time for the install prog to 'sense' and configure the mouse. Actually
around 2 minutes of continual, gentle movement of the mouse, including the
wheel. Then all of a sudden, up pops the three button test screen and all is
well. Patience seems to be the key here. BTW, this ps2 configuration lag was
the same in LM 7.2. gently.....gently.....
For those who check email headers, I use windows at work (won't let me
wipe it out and run linux) but I'm working on it.

Regards to all listites,
Bill W.
