this is what i get when i give 

   rpm -qa| grep any package

rpm -qa|  grep nets
/usr/lib/rpm/rpmq: /lib/libdb.so.2: no version information available
(required by /usr/lib/librpm.so.0)


so any help?

hor starters i can't use rpm at all.
so i am asking for a method to uninstall by hand the rpm 4
