[newbie] how to tell LM about MS Trekker mouse

I have an MS Trekker mouse, which LM recognises as a Standard
PS/2 2-button mouse. I tried telling MouseDrake it was a Generic
PS2 wheel mouse, but that resulted in weird things as if one button
was permanently down. The wheel worked perfectly in LM 8.0B1.
What can I do to get back to those good old days? Thanks,
