[newbie] Real Player Installation Problem?

Hellow :)

I have a new problem. Typical of a newbie. Well here it is:
I installed Real Player 8 on Linux-Mandrake 7.2 as it said on the demo pages. 
I downloaded the "rp8_linux20_libc6i386_cs1.bin" not the "....rpm"  I made 
the file executable and installation went well.  However I can not get Real 
Player to star on KDE, even though I installed it while on KDE.  It works 
just fine on Gnome.   What's wrong? What can I do?
