I have similar problems. I've been looking all over for help/ideas/whatever
and came across a wireless mailing list you might want to keep an eye on:
http://lists.samba.org/listinfo/wireless
So far I haven't solved my problems either, but that seems to have the
traffic/information information about the OriNOCO card.
