i downlaoded and installed win4lin - howvever, after
"stage one" of the install was completed and the
win4lin kernel patch was installed i rebooted and
continued with stage 2 (instalation of windows). but
when the win4lin installer tries to access the windows
install cd to do so it says
"could not mount cdrom /dev/cdrom"
if i try to mount the cdrom as root it gives me the
message
"the kernel does not recognize /dev/cdrom as a block
device (maybe 'insmod driver'?)"
if, under lilo, i boot into the old, unpatched, linux
the cdrom is fine so i am assuming the kernel patch
messed with something?
what can i do to be able to access the cdrom under the
win4lin kernel so i can finish the install???
